Perrelli Heads Up Tribal Justice Initiative

Associate Attorney General Tom Perrelli is in Niagara Falls on Monday for an event hosted by the National Congress of American Indians. Carrie Johnson at the Washington Post explains why: He’s there the tell Native Americans there’s more money coming from the government for youth mentoring, victim assistance and crime prevention. How much? The stimulus package earmarked $248 million for tribal justice issues.
