Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales has put his McLean, Va., house on the market.

Gonzales, who started teaching at Texas Tech University this fall, is asking $1.075 million for the brick colonial in the McLean Hamlet neighborhood, The Washington Post’s Reliable Source blog reported this week.

He purchased the home for $1.05 million in 2005, the Reliable Source said. The house was built in 1966. View photos here.

The five bedroom home also boasts video-monitored entrances and a safe room off the master bedroom with a thick master door, the Reliable Source said.
