Panel to Consider Nashville U.S. Attorney Nominee

Jerry Martin (Barrett, Johnston & Parsley)

The Senate Judiciary Committee is slated to consider [1] the nominee to be U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee at its meeting Thursday.

Jerry E. Martin was nominated on March 25 to replace Bush holdover U.S. Attorney Ed Yarbrough. He is a partner at Barrett, Johnston & Parsley [2].  Read more about Martin here [3].

The panel has yet to schedule votes for another 18 would-be U.S. Attorneys. The committee has approved 47 of President Barack Obama’s U.S. Attorney nominees, 45 of whom have won Senate confirmation.
