Lappen, who has worked in the office for more than 12 years, previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney.

Gibson worked for the DOJ from 1986 to 1996 and then returned in 2003. She has served as the First Assistant U.S. Attorney and as the chief of the Civil Division in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to her government service, Gibson worked for the firm Drinker, Biddle & Reath LLP.
