Former U.S. Attorney Will Face Grassley in General Election

Former U.S. Attorney Roxanne Conlin won the Iowa Democratic primary on Tuesday and will now face off against Sen. Charles Grassley (R) in the general election this November.

Conlin, who served as the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa from 1977 to 1981, earned 77 percent of the vote. Former state Rep. Bob Krause won 13 percent of the vote and former state Sen. Tom Fiegen earned 9 percent of the vote.

Grassley ran unopposed in the Republican primary and earned 98 percent of the vote.
