Former Florida Assistant U.S. Attorney to Sutherland

Terri L. Donaldson, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Middle District of Florida, has joined Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, the firm announced in a release on its website.

She will work as a partner in the Litigation Group. Donaldson previously worked at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, where she focused on commercial and environmental litigation.

When she served as Assistant U.S. Attorney, Donaldson was the lead environmental crimes prosecutor for the district and established the office’s Environmental Crimes Unit.

She also previously served as general counsel at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, where she worked on issues arising under state and federal environmental statutes, such as the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act.
