Hosko to Head Criminal Division at FBI’s Washington Field Office

Ronald T. Hosko was appointed special agent in charge of the Criminal Division for the FBI’s Washington Field Office, the bureau said  in a news release.
Hosko, who has worked for the FBI for the past 25 years, started out in the Jackson, Miss., Division in 1984. He was transferred to Chicago in 1988 and promoted to assistant special agent in charge of the Philadelphia office in 2003.
Hosko has mainly investigated white-collar, financial, organized and violent crimes. He has also been a member of several SWAT teams.
In 2001, he was assigned to the Crisis Management Unit and served as a deputy to the Joint Operations Center commander during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
In 2005, Hosko served as the commander of FBI personnel in Afghanistan and as deputy to the senior federal law enforcement official after Hurricane Katrina.
Promoted to inspector in April 2007, Hosko served as special agent in charge of the St. Louis Division before joining the Washington Field Office.
