D.C. Bar Announces 2011 Candidates

The District of Columbia Bar nominations committee on Monday announced its candidates for office for 2011-2012, the Blog of Legal Times reported. Voting takes place May 2 to June 3.

President-elect:

Secretary of the Board of Governors:

  • Rosy Lor (Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel)
  • Marianela Peralta (Hilton Worldwide)

Treasurer

  • Jeffrey Stuart Gutman (George Washington University Law School)
  • Morton Posner (Justice Management Division of the Office of General Counsel at the Justice Department)

Seats on the Bar’s Board of Governors:

American Bar Association House of Delegates
Regular seats:

Under-35 seat:

  • Thomas A. Bednar (U.S. Attorney’s office for the District of Columbia)
  • Jimmy Chatsuthiphan (Gray Plant Mooty)
