The mexican cartels are not getting so-called "military grade" weapons from border gun dealers-most are coming from central and south American,and Mexico's own miliaries, and international gun smugglers. Mccarthy is a career long anti-gun politician,and will take every opportunity she gets to try and enact more gun control. The multi-billion dollar drug cartels do not need U.S. gunshops to obtain their firearms,which are military grade,fully automatic,and are not now,nor have ever been for sale in border gun shops. All this new "law" does is make legal,law abiding firearms owners and dealers go through even more needless paperwork,on top of that-the BATFE does not have the authority to demand records of private firearms sales,thereby creating a list of so-called military grade firearms buyers.
