House Majority Leader Rep. Steny Hoyer said any investigation into the harsh interrogation methods used against terrorism suspects should include what members of Congress knew, including House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Congressional Quarterly reported this afternoon.
We previously reported that a Pelosi insider said the California Democrat knew about the use of waterboarding on terrorism suspects, despite her adamant denials that she knew anything about its actual implementation on detainees.
“Frankly, information about what was said, when it was said, who said it, that ought to be on the record so the American public knows,” Hoyer told CQ.
