Middle District of Tennessee U.S. Attorney Ed Yarbrough will return to the private sector upon the appointment of President Barack Obama’s nominee to lead the office, NashvillePost.com reported Friday.

Yarbrough, who has led the Nashville-based U.S. Attorney’s office since 2007, will join Nashville law firm Walker, Tipps & Malone PLC. He spent more than 30 years at Nashville law firm Hollins, Wagster & Yarbrough PC (now Hollins, Raybin & Weissman PC) before becoming U.S. Attorney.

The Senate Judiciary Committee approved Middle District of Tennessee U.S. Attorney nominee Jerry E. Martin on Thursday. Martin, who was nominated on March 25, is a partner at Barrett, Johnston & Parsley.
