Grassley Sets Timetable for Loretta Lynch Hearings

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley plans to hold confirmation hearings for attorney general nominee Loretta Lynch in the last week of January or the beginning of February, an aide said Wednesday.

A White House official confirmed that Grassley told the White House counsel of his plans, and added: “The WH continues to believe that Loretta Lynch should be confirmed as soon as possible.” (Read more)
