Senate Panel Sets Loretta Lynch Confirmation Hearing Dates

WASHINGTON — The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold confirmation hearings on President Barack Obama’s nominee for attorney general on Jan. 28 and Jan. 29.
Republican Sen. Charles Grassley of Iowa announced the hearing dates on Friday. The president has nominated Loretta Lynch to succeed Attorney General Eric Holder.
